Sandy Spit is a teeny weeny deserted island in Jost Van Dyke, BVI.
It has sand that is spongy and smooth as silk.
Waves actually collide into one another which is a cool visual but makes for a challenging exit with the dinghy.
This is an afternoon stop for lots of boats. The photo ops on this little piece of paradise are endless.
On the next island over you can find the Lady J Pirate Bar.
Rumour has it that Jost Van Dyke was named after a pirate, a lady pirate.
It’s appearance and dinghy graveyard say it has not been in use for some time.
Maybe it’s the weird little stickman guardian out front that scares everyone way!
Looks like a lookalike in jost!
