Let’s Hit the Town
Taormina, Sicily is absolutely beautiful.
It’s surreal the way it mixes natural beauty with modern art and old world charm.
I have so many pictures.
Let’s start with shopping.
I’m not a big clothes shopper but this store got me!

I went into this establishment at least 3 times and I loved everything in it.
Including the flower head mannequins.
I would buy them and scatter them around my mansion, which I would also have to buy because we are currently mansionless.
As you can see by the prices displayed it’s no thrift shop you need you need some cake 💰 to play here.
However, it was so unique I would say the price is warranted if you feel uniqueness has a LARGE price tag.
What do I know about fashion?
Is everything cool and picturesque here?
Yes. Yes it is.
Just like this candy store.

Souvenir anyone?

What about an apple or a jar of honey?

Nothing looks even remotely common around here it’s all so spectacular.
Art.
You need art in your life.
Have a stroll through this stairwell gallery.

What about small art?
Made right in front of you.

Too fancy?
Here’s some fun t-shirts.

Lot of walking and window shopping.
Need some ice cream – always.

Or what about a nice dessert?
This particular employee was very good at multi tasking.

He could take care of the 3 people lined up in front of him AND yell at me as I walked by for taking a picture of his store.
Nice! We decided against buy anything in there.
We came here to this sunny little bohemian bar for a frosty cold one..

…and a snack.

We needed to energize or we were going to end up like this young lady.

Maybe she just went online and looked up the prices of the watches in the watch store behind her.
You’ve always wanted a fancy watch right, doesn’t everyone?
This store has fancy watches.

But you can only look at them online.
There are no watches in this store.
Hmm. So many questions.

Here’s people lined up to see a castle or something.
Sounded interesting.

We’ll never know cause we have a no line-ups rule.
But look how pretty!

We did walk a little further and found this lookout spot all to ourselves.

No line ups.
Need something more interactive?
They have that too.
A cooking class in a magical dwelling.

With a feathery chandelier and buckets of roses guiding your way of course!

Taormina has something for everyone especially if you’re into shopping.
Mostly if you’re into shopping.
We grabbed a quick selfie.
We only got yelled at one time.
Today was a good day.

Ciao Taormina, in the morning we leave to…?
If we can find the car!
Follow along to the next spot here:
